Where can I drop off old cell phones near Phoenix?

If the phones came out of a business — a retired corporate plan, a warehouse full of old scanners, a front desk that just swapped handsets — bring them to us in Scottsdale. Old cell phones are the single most common small-quantity item we take, and they are also the riskiest to leave in a drawer: a factory reset does not reliably clear a device, and a lost handset with saved credentials or patient contact data is a reportable event. We erase or physically destroy the storage in every phone we accept, refurbish the ones that still hold a charge for Phoenix-area students, and recover gold, copper and rare-earth content from the rest through audited R2v3 downstream processors. Drop-offs are by appointment only so a technician is at the counter to count and log your devices instead of taking a bag over the desk.

    How an appointment drop-off works

    1. Email recycle@techbrosaz.com or call (877) 321-4823 with your company name, roughly what you have, and whether any of it stores data. We reply with a drop-off time — usually within one business day.
    2. Bring the items to 7707 E. Acoma Dr. Suite 101, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 during your reserved window, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (MST). Our team counts and logs the assets with you at the counter.
    3. Data-bearing media is sealed on intake, then wiped to NIST 800-88 or shredded under our NAID AAA certified process. Your serialized Certificate of Destruction and asset list follow by email once processing closes.
